Q: Sugar Crash

Me and my naturopath came to the conclusion that i'm probably hypoglycemic, as every time I ate something high in carbs or sugar after hours and hours of not eating, I would start to feel panicked, heart palps, and just nervous. So for about 2 months I haven't eaten any refined sugar, and just recently I started making sure I ate a little bit every few hours. Those few days were the best i've had in as long as I could remember, as I felt calm and alert. 2 nights ago my friend had a birthday party, and after several offers to have a nice big piece of cake, I went for it. Big mistake. I woke up suddenly in the middle of the nite with a rapid heart rate, sweating, nausea and panic. I ate a little bit of apple and had some water and felt good enough to go back to sleep again. And boy did I sleep. I found it really really hard to get up the next day, and for the past few days I still haven't felt 100%, and my heart rate is still higher than normal at around 95 which is making me nervous. Could this still be the after math of that stupid thing I did the other night??

Yeah it can actually. If you eat something bad expect symptoms to last up to three days, maybe longer.
