I am 19 Rolling Eyes ... And I am just getting over mononucleosis. I've known about my mono for just over a month, & I wuz wondering...What will happen to me if I drink an alcoholic beverage? Because i've heard stories about the spleen popping. Now I think my mono is gone because im not really showing that many symptoms except for sleepiness. Well thanks

Actually, I have terrible news. In 75% of teen mono cases, 50% of men experiance "spleen popping." after drinking an alcholic beverage, your spleen explodes, and you die. You bleed from the rectum, and die. Peice of caca. ~medical question you little g~ human

I don't think you should drink. Mono never gets out of your system, it's with you the rest of your life. Also, if your still constantly tired, then your still having symtoms. Keep it safe, and if your really concered ask your doctor!
