from hotty,

Hi, I am 44 years old with 2 kids ages 10 & 6. I had the same problem, I was pushing myself back in all the time. I use to walk and it would hurt because of the rubbing, yes I was out that far. My bladder control was horrible. I couldn't run with my kids. I also couldn't laugh hard, sneeze or cough with out crossing my legs first. I had a complete hysterectomy including my cervix 3 years ago due to vaginal prolapse. I didn't have to have a complete one at the time but due to the risk of cancer in my ovaries and cervix I decided to go with the whole sha-bang. I am glad it was done. I found out after the surgery that my ovaries were full of cysts. I am on premarin daily for menopausal symtoms. I had to go back for another surgery a year later for a bladder suspension.

Are you going to have any more kids? You don't have to have a complete hystorectomy and it could be done vaginally. I have a niece who is having the same problems, but she just had her third child. She hasn't made any decisions yet regarding her situation. The only other advice to give is if you do go for a h be sure to do your keegle exercises and take a year for your recovery, meaning no heavy lifting at all, even if you feel like you can do it. I hope this helps, good luck with your decision.

Hystorectomy
Hello everyone,

i am 44 years old today I had a complete hystorectomy on feb 17-06 and since then I have had problems needing to go the restroom constantly, it hurts when I do go, #1 or #2 like spasm pains and now when I sneeze, cough or laugh hard I pee on myself. Has anyone else experienced this after one? I have my ovaries, he just took my uterus. I go back this friday for my 6 week follow up. Am I worse or will this get better, anyone>>>>>please
