as I understand it, the incidence of dvt amongst air travellers is very small. It would have to be when you consider the vast numbers of people on long haul flights on any given day. I also understand that dvt is most prevalent in those over 40 years of age, and also when there are other contributary factors such as smoking, etc.
It has not been definitively agreed that dvt is caused by long haul travel, it may merely be exacerbated in those who are already predisposed to dvt.
But nevertheless if you are concerned then get it checked out. It's always better to be safe than sorry. But I would say that chances are you aren't suffering from dvt.
If it's any reassurance, I have flown on over 40 long haul flights and have never suffered a problem.
