I feel like big fool asking this, but I dont know where else I could ask a question like this. I've only just started having sex, but i'm not sure if i've ever had an orgasm. How long do they last? Does it just feel insanely good? I don't have a clue, any advice? Thanx

You haven't had one, if you did you would know it. Yes they feel great. I can't explain it really. Sometimes its so good I can hardly keep my eyes open for it, sometimes it makes me scream out and sometimes I can't even make a noise they are so good. Sometimes they last long, and sometimes they don't. The best thing for me to say is masturbate. Learn your body, find out what it takes for you to have an orgasm. Once you have one, you will know! There will be a climax (a build) and then a release. It feels like an explosion.

Hmm, it really depends. Masterbation and knowing yourself, you can have an orgasm. With a partner, for women, the best thing is foreplay. Maybe there should be more. Oral sex and just a lot of teasing the clitoris can stimulate an orgasm, and maybe getting warmed up before penetration will make it easier to have an orgasm. Just see what your body likes, and find out for yourself. Then you can probably communicate to your partner what feels good and what doesn't.

There are 2 different types of orgasms. One is clitoral stimulation, the other is g spot penetration. Rarely will either be achieved from sex, though many of us will fake it to make our partners feel better. But fingering is probably the best way to go.

"though many of us will fake it to make our partners feel better"

this is something I will never understand. Do you really think your partner would appreciate it if he knew you were faking it?

All you have to do is tell him what to do, or guide him somehow if he is too useless to make ya squirt...But faking it is just plain dumb.

Why? I very much enjoy sex with or without an orgasm, it just makes it better for him. He said he doesn't care as long as I don't tell him when I do and do not fake. I enjoy sex as a whole better than an orgasm sometimes

It is just counter-productive really....

Why bother faking it when you could actually climax? Sure most women enjoy sex without having to have an orgasm but I like to give my woman an orgasm before I even get close to penetrating her, otherwise things get outa hand ;)

what she does if she thinks it will take too long or too much effort to get there is she will decide to just have sex. I would rather she did that then lie about it, jsut seems so unnecessary and mildly immature.

To each their own I guess.. /shrug

I'm 20, I have been with my boyfriend 3 years and no orgasm, not eve close. I can't even be directly on top because I find it hurts to much, feels like too much pressure or something. I can't have an orgasm through masturbation, it just doesn't turn me on and I get bored. I should get a vibrator, haven't tried that yet.

But after 3 years, shouldn't sex not be uncomfortable anymore? Is it weird for it to hurt when I am on top? We have the most open and comfortable relationship and there is no pressure on me to have an orgasm, it would just be nice. Is a vibrator the sure bet?

Try a combination of masturbation and a little porn. Downlaod something you may enjoy that turns you on, there are varying levels of raunchiness frmo soft porn to more hardcore depnding on your taste. The softer ones tend to be more erotic..

I think if you try that you may find you will be more successful. Also try and relax and not place too much pressure on yourself to climax, it will happen.

Another thing you can try that apparently is very effective is using one of those extendable shower heads that have the pulsating effect. My girlfriends tell me that is the only way to fly ;)

regarding the pressure and discomfort, many women have this problem, you are not alone. You can try various positions to try and find some that you will find more comfortable and enjoy. Try side to side for example, that can be fun. Also make sure you are wet enough, if not, use a water based lubrication like ky or even better astroglide, both of these provide adequate lubrication that may easy some discomfort.

Make sure your partner knows your discomfort and get him to be a little more gentle and not pound you as hard as he usally does, sometimes doing it so he doesn't ram into your cervix with each thrust can be all that is needed to releive your discomfort. The cervix can be very sensitive in some women and they dislike the sensation of the penis hitting that spot. Other woman absolutely love that sensation....

But try the porn/masturbation combo and the pulsating shower head and I am sure you will find what you are looking for! No woman should go without the release of an orgasm ever! ;)

good luck to you....Keep us posted.

No porn porn is so fake gives false expectations a vibrator would be the best bet and the way your body is put together can be why it is uncomfortable on top . It is for me if I face him what helps is if I face his feet and lean towards them .... And you get g. R. E. A. T penetration good luck

it's always so easy to make this kind of statement when you've never experienced the flip side of the coin. I could explain to my partner all day long how to get me to orgasm but it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference. And unfortunately, when you're with somebody who takes personal offense to your not being able to orgasm, it makes the possibility of orgasm only that much more elusive. Yes, I explained to him what it takes for me to climax, I painted him pictures, we played around, we talked about it, we did everything imaginable. I told him that i'd never been able to orgasm with a partner and that it wasn't something he was or wasn't doing, it's just how my body works. Unfortunately, he wanted to make a huge issue of it. He was actually getting angry with me about it! After I began faking it, our sex life improved ten fold. So while you may view faking it as 'just plain dumb', there are those of us who see no other option at times. Luckily, my current bf understands the concept of not missing something you've never had. Just because I don't have an orgasm doesn't make sex any less pleasurable for me.

Not all women are able to oorgasm with cunnilingus just as not all men are able to with fellatio

...I am sorry, but you are forgetting the vaginal orgasm...All three can be achieved with one hot sexual act....However, it does require one thing...Two people that are desperately in love....Take care...
