hopefully someone can help me out. I woke
up last sunday (10/29) morning with what I
thought was a mild hangover. Saturday
night I had two shots of tequilla and
smoked a lil bud. I went to bed late and
I kinda knew I would have a headache
(nothing unusual for me when I drink and
smoke late)) in the morning. The thing
is....The headache comes and goes. It
seems I can feel it in the back of my neck
and the back of my head......It can really
start throbbing too. Im just getting
kinda worried. I've never had a headache
act like this. I've been taking excedrin,
but it does nothing!! Excedrin usually
works really well for me. Im 37, male,
pretty healthy. I do take pepcid for
heartburn. Suggestions, advise...Anyone?

The bud nowadays can be cut with some
pretty nasty stuff which you night have
gotten hold of if yoou start feeling worse
or not any better contact your Dr. And
tell him the truth, you also could have
slept on your neck wrong and remember,
tequilla is also pronoununced t-killya, I
understand though, I used to like tequilla
too! I am no Dr. You might ask
ssomeone if you were the life of the
party, that was there.

The thing is, I was at home with my
wife...No party. Just two shots and 2
blunts. Im seriously thinking it could
have been the bud. Headaches for a week
though??! Can chemicals give you
headaches like that or t'killya...That
last this long......Coming and
going...Varying in pain degrees???

Hello
at the start of my anxiety I had severe
headaches which I had never experienced
before. It turned out that I had bad
anxiety and a lot of it was coming off the
tension I held in my neck.
Also I experienced this after
experimenting with some drugs, I honestly
think that this maybe contributed to my
anxiety. It has been a hard lesson to
learn but I know i`ll never touch the
stuff again.
The headaches subsided when I became more
relaxed.
Good luck

It could be something to do with
anxiousness. For blood starts pounding
in your head--but usually subsides after
the thing that made you anxious and
worried goes away. It elevates your
blood pressure when anxious and when
smoking and when drinking. Should have
gone away. My son had the same problems
he loves hit pot, but finally had to quit
all together it started to affect his
heart. Same thing headaches and blood
pounding then....... His heart. The pot
they were smokin was the best of the best.
Seriously the kind it only takes 2 hits
and you're smashed. Yes there could have
been something in it too---but it could
have just been extremely good bud. My
daughter started having more anxiety
attacks on that same pot.
Hey I used to smoke 11 years straight.
Dont look down on pple who do. It was my
life saver. Calmed me down, pulled me
out of my depression and also was a pain
killer for me. But I also loved to get
high!!! It was my thing--and the
occasional tequilla. That was my fav
drink.

Headaches Every Day In the Back of the Head - Me Too! Posted: 02-05-06 02:56am
After reading through these forums and
seeing that lots of people are having
similar experiences, i've decided to
describe mine - and hopefully the cause of
the headches! I have to figure this out -
worries of brain tumors, operations, and
cancer scare me!
I've been experiencing headaches everyday
for the past few weeks, sometimes mild
sometimes bad. They seem to always start
in the back of the head, and it makes my
head feel like pressure is building up
inside - as I could poke a needle in the
back of my head and whoosh - the pain
would go away. Also, I can sometimes
"taste" mucous or sinuses in my head.
Lots of people out there seem to have
headache problems, and i'm just trying to
find a common thread. Here is some info
on my situation:
-very good shape, excellent health.
-american expat. Lived in japan for 10
years, and moved to shanghai about one
year ago.
-a little red wine in the evenings before
dinner (usually just a glass or 2).
-work is very busy, but I don't think it's
that stressful - esp because I enjoy it!
-(this one seems similar to the
others...). I spend at least 6 hours/day
on a laptop (ibm).
Ok. I absolutely hate doctors and
hospitals and almost always figure out
what's wrong with me on my own. I'm a big
believer in pm (preventative medicine),
and try to stay as healthy as possible to
avoid illnesses (instead of focusing on
"cures"). But I just can't figure this
one out. But ti may be close. I visited
this chinese medicine shop around the
corner (i live in shanghai). I told the
"doctor" my symptoms, and the friendly old
lady just laughed at me! And told me,
that lots of people have the same thing.
It's just the climate and air quality in
shanghai, and the pain is just caused my
mucous buildup in my head! She gave me
some tcm (traditional chinese medicine)
and some "cold tylenol". Anyway, before
this turns into a book... The combo seems
to be working. The headaches have gotten
much better, but they're not completely
gone yet. So i'm still a little worried
that I haven't pinpointed the actual
cause.... If anyone has any ideas,
please help!
Thanks

Headaches Everyday Posted: 02-06-06 04:47am
Hi my jean here just joined this site this
morning.
I woke with a headache every morning and a
general feeling of being unwell I knew
something was wrong because I stopped
drinking alcohol 3 years ago and it felt
very similar to a hangover. To cut a long
story short I was diagnosed on the 1st
february as having menieres disease thats
how it all started a few months ago with a
heavy fuzzy head, and I really hope its
not not that as this is really driving me
crazy as there are so many other symptoms.
Good luck, drink plenty water as its
dehydration that causes headaches
