Im 15 and male and im 5 foot 6. I turned
15 in august, and im a sophmore. Everyone
in my grade and even the 9th graders are
all at least my height or taller. Most
people are about 5 9 to 5 10 at least at
my school. My dad is only 5 6 and my mom
is 5 2, do I have any potential to get any
taller? My half brother whose mom is 5
foot 4 is 6 foot tall. My full blooded
sister is 5 foot. The average height for
males on my moms side is about 5 10 - 5
11, on my dads side the average is about 5
8. Is there any chance for me or am I
stuck being short?

5'6 isn't that short, but I wouldn't worry
about it. I was the shortest of my
friends at 15. Now im 5'10 and tallest
in my famliy.

I don't know that there's anything you can
really do about it. I think I grew a
little in the past couple years because I
started eating healthier and working out
more, but it's probably just in my head.
I haven't actually measured myself.

I know it seems tough now, but hang in
there. It is personality and charm, and
wit that makes you a bigger person, not
size.

That is such a stupid question, that is
like being 5 and asking "am I gonna grow
anymore" you are only 15, you are going
to grow. Maybe not a whole lot, but you
will! Just calm down, who cares how tall
everyone else is! They prolly just had
growth spurts at different times then you!
Everything will be fine! :-)

I used to be worried about my height back
in the day. I am also 5'6'' and havent
grown since 6th grade. I am now 21, and
I have had relationships with 2 girls who
were 5'10''. Trust me man, most girls
like shorter guys and the ones that dont,
well you probably would find out sooner or
later that they werent what you were
looking for in the first place. In a few
years youll realize its not so bad, just
dont hope to be a career athlete someday.
