I was given a prescription of amitriptiline as I had a nerve flare up , pain in the back of my neck and up the side of my head... As well as throat swallowing problems....

I only took one pill and noticed the next day how tired I was even after a good night sleep, I ended up laying down on the couch just before noon and sleeping again for another 2 hours...

Does anyone know if people with bipolor are more sensitive to medications than people without it, if this is true why ?

Even when they put me on celexa anti depressant a few years ago this caused a huge mania for me .....
