Q: Swelling

This is happening to my sister-in-law. She is 15 and for more than 2 years she has had occasional swelling on her face - eyes, mouth, etc. We have always related to stressful situations. She had an allergy test done - negative. Recently (past 2 months) she had had more swelling all over the body face, limbs, back, wrists, ankles. She is not overweight, but life has been more stressful for her. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Has anyone heard for anything like this?

I have heard of conditions similar to this and the only conclusion I can come to is that she may be retaining extra water which would account for the swelling. People can get this anywhere on their body. Not sure but hopefully they will find something.
