My bf has kidney stones and he is in so much pain. I was just wondering if there was another other than giving him lots of water and his meds that I can do to help make him more comfortable. Thanks.

Unfortunately flushing the system seems to be the only way to deal with stones unless of course they are to large to pass,it is extremely painful I know but what meds has he been given?

He's got tylenol 3s. And he's doing a lot better now, not as much pain as the other day. But i'm still making sure he's taking the meds and drinking lots of water. So hopefully it'll be over soon.

Hopefully it will all be over soon,it is awful being in that pain but it is just as hard having to watch someone going through that pain too as there is nothing you can do to help.Best of luck to both of you.

Thanks. He's doing much better, still in some pain, but not nearly as much as last week... So I think it's almost over for him :)

That is very good news just ask him to keep a check on his kidneys though as more often than not most people do get kidney stones more than once.
