It's just because it's a newly growing hair, or a hair that has become ingrown.

If you aren't totally against it, maybe you should try shaving your hair off and look to see any improvement for a while. My guess is an ingrown pubic hair. They can hurt and have puss from them. Don't be too alarmed yet. If it was a sexually transmitted infection, there wouldn't be only 1 dot so I honestly do not think that is your case.
