Ultraviolet Types (uv-a, Uv-b, Uv-c) Confusion With Vitamins

Does uv-a (the longer wavelength uv)
promote folate (and dna)
synthesis, or does it destroy folate?
Similarly, uv-b promotes the precursor to
vitamin-d in the body,
correct?
Which uv is responsible for the long term
tanning (uv-a)? And burning
(uv-b, uv-c)?
Anyone heard of this?
