Has anyone with lupus been on depo provera? I just stopped using it a month ago and i've been feeling crappy....Knees ache, major fatigue, nausea. Feels similar to having a flare up. I've been told these aren't typical withdrawal symptoms post depo. I'm wondering if the estrogen being back in my system now is aggravating the lupus. Anyone know?

I wasn't planning on trying until about june or so. I'm not sure how long it will take my body to regulate and get back on a regular cycle. I guess everyone is different so who know.

long term depo
I've been on the Depo shot since 1999 have been off it only once, ironically this was when I landed in the hospital with a lupus diagnosis, I have to fight my Ob/gyn to continue the shot b/c I believe heavily that the benefits outweigh the bone density risks. However, I did recently read that DHEA can aid with the bone issues associated with the Depo and Lupus.
