I got a call from my doctor and my
prolactin levels are normal. My
counselor said there is nothing more she
can really do for me and she has no idea
why I have ed. What options do I have
now. My question is how can I gain
confidence to have sex if I can't even
masturbate?

When you say counselor, you mean like sex
counselor. Correct?

Yeah a sex counselor, I tried a marriage
counselor and that didnt really help much.
I think I mentioned before I got my
prolactin levels tested and they are
normal. Is there any more tests I get
done, like hormone tests? My options now
are vascular studies and a sex counselor.
I have seen many doctors and urologists,
so I am guessing this is my last hope.
Also, I am on wellbutrin and another
person mentioned justs to relax and stop
masturbating and things should just come
back on there own?

I kind of think the same way. Most
people have sex problems and they jump
straight to the meds, when there easier,
free, natural ways of taking care of many
of the problems. Taking a break from
masturbation from a while might not be to
bad of an idea. Give it a rest for a few
weeks, and see how you're doing then.
Don't forget though, that you should
ejaculate atleast once every 2-3 weeks to
keep your prostate healthy.

What would happen if I just go without
masturbation for months until my sex drive
comes back or if it ever will. Also, not
that I am considering it at this point,
but what are my options if therapy dosent
work? Am I screwed and unable to have
kids? Even though my testosterone is
normal, is there any hormone supplements
to take to give me a boast? What about
steriods? Any advice

I would advise against going without
masturbating for months unless you are
still regularly ejaculating through sex.
Are you on any other medications other
than those that you are taking in an
attempt to fix the pe problems? Do you
feel that you are depressed often about
something?
Can you still ejaculate through
masturbation or no? If yes, then you
could still have kids.

I use to have sex with my girlfriend, and
I know it sounds stupid and immature but I
broke up with her because of the ed.I
couldnt tell her because I live in a
college dormitory where everyone knows
everybody. I I only had sex with her
when I was on viagra, and when I tried sex
without it I got blood flowing but not
enough for penetration. I am on
wellbutrin 150 mg twice daily

I would say slow you masturbation habits
to once about every 2 weeks or every 12-16
days. This way you will still ejaculate,
but you may be helping to improve your pe
problem.

I know this sounds crazy, but if this ed
never goes away should I get a implant of
some type. I lost a girl I loved because
of this and being a guy, this is a tough
thing to deal with. Is it possible that
I have permanent erectile dysfunciton for
no reason and now I fighting a lost cause?
Is there anyone out there that has not
had a real hard erection in nearly two
years with or without a woman and some how
recovered? I feel alone in this situation
with only doctors to talk to. Is there
any other tests I should consider-like
cancer, a tumor, nervous system disease
anything?

Implants won't make you much bigger,
you'll still have to get erect to see the
full result.

Hey ccd, all of your advice has been very
helpful. I am curious how do you know so
much. Are you a doctor nurse, or do you
just study health

First things first, you wanted to know if
this will go on forever. The answer is
no. Absolutley not, there is no way this
ed problem will last your entire lifetime.
Don't even consider it. It might take
a long time but eventually your body will
step in and take over, a mans sexual
function can only be surpressed for so
long before they eventually kick start
themselves. The problem is not creating
yourself a complex in the mean time.
My concern is with wellbutrin you need to
work on getting off the wellbutrin since a
major symptom of that pill is ed.
Nothing you do will work while on that
crap you need to start weening yourself
off the medicine. Once you remove that
factor you can try wacking off less, about
once a week. But most importantly you
cannot try to cure ed while taking a
medicine whose side effect is ed. No
matter your libido anti depressants can
and do kill your members ability to
perform.
What I did was I accepted it, I said so
medical question what? Whatever? I
stopped caring about wether it would work
or not I literally got pissed at my penis.
Only after I managed to calm down was I
able to start masterbating again. Little
by little i'm getting better and better.
The most important thing is to just not
stress it, I know it's hard took me months
and I still have days where I wanna just
shoot myself but you have to drag through
those days. It takes a long time but you
need to stop doubting yourself. You will
be c ured, this wont last a lifetime but
it'll take time.

Thanks human, I try what you said.
People say is hould stay on the wellbutrin
because even though some say it is an
ssri, it does not effect serotonin levels,
rather dopamine and other chemicals, but I
could be wrong. I have also heard that
there is a low risk of effecting libido
with wellbutrin and it may also increase
libido. Is there any anti-anxiety drug
out there that has little sexual side
effects because I notice that on
wellbutrin my heart seems to always be
beating fast and shake at times.

I agree, ask the Dr. About the
wellbutrin, try to go to a naturalist or a
herbal shop and talk to them about the
situation.
Something from the past could be comming
back to sort of haunt you, try checking
out a psychologist about e.M.D.R., it has
helped a lot of people and they do not use
drugs, it is generally done by knee
tapping finger movement and it is a great
release, you can look it up if you want,
psychologists to me are better to me than
psychiatrists because they do not use a
lot of drugs and I have nothing against
psychiatrists either.
Good luck to you on whatever you decide to
do but try to stay positive!

Hmmm.....How about this: just plain old
don't think about it for like a week. I
have had wierd problems for the last month
or so with the lack of ability to get my
urethra hard. I started to become very
depressed and this girl that I had been
talking to since the start of school could
notice, "extreamly noticable" is what she
said. Just take your mind off of it
fully. Go out and play catch with your
dogs, perhaps take a crap in your
neighbors yard (just kidding) or go see a
cool movie (harry potter, as I have heard,
was prety damn cool). After you take
your mind off of it for about a week (i
did this last week) come back to these
forums and don't start another post, just
read through the first like 10 pages of
posts that relate to your problem.
I can swear it works. Yesterday, I
probably had the hardest and fullest
erection that I have had in around a year
or so. Ohhhh and also, durring this next
week, try to masterbate less then twice
and do plent of kiegals (sp. ??) then try
it out. Beleive in your penis and it
will beleive. I am not kidding here.
Well, good luck to you! I have an essay
to write so I gotta hit it!

hang in there man... things always get
better. this might may be a bit late but
appreciate wat ya got and the good things
that life has to offer say, for example, a
beautiful sunny day or the taste of good
food. dedicate yourself to a hobby or
sport. one of my close mates used to say
whenever he felt down or troubled that he
would start concentrating harder on his
sport, which he loved, and everthing would
get better by itself. and it always did.
he went on to become really good at sport
and leads a good life as well. life isnt
all abou sex bro.
i have suffered from ed too mate and its
not nice. im tryna get thru it and be
positive. hopefully things sort themselves
out.
all the best
