Q: Does Cartilage Heal?

I just recently quit using cocaine after bout a year, because I kept experiencing pain. I came to realize that a hole was being eaten thru my nose. Now I have a 1/4 inch hole in the cartilage all the way thru. I am just wondering if it will heal on its own or should I use a cream? I am using a saline spray to keep it moist, but it doesnt seem to be healing. Hope someone can help. Thanks

This isn’t the place to get answers about your question. I don’t think anyone here is a doctor. And a doctor is who you should be asking for answers about your septum. The only advice I can offer is, if you snort more cocaine, it will probably get worse.

Congratulations on quitting,
richard
