I was alone for 10 years after my divorce, except for the ocassional one-night stands and office flings, but just recently i've met someone who literally stopped me in my tracks when I first saw her. I own a small moving & logistics comapany and we were on a house move and she was there helping out the elderly lady we were moving. When she answered the door and said hello, I knew right then that I had to have her, not just physically, but forever and always. That same day I asked her out (something in the past I would never have done) , and she said yes.
That was three months ago, and we're planning to get married in may. This woman has me, mind, body and soul, but if I hadn't gotten up the courage to ask her out that day, then I would have missed out on the best thing in my life.
How many opportunities have you missed out on because you just didn't have the confidence to take the chance? The one thing that i've learned is that if you're really as bad as you think you are, then what have you got to lose, huh? Go for broke! Hit on every woman that strikes your fancy, and trust me, you'll get the one you want. It's a numbers game, man - sooner or later, you're going to win.
