I discovered that my right tonsil is enlarged and swollen about a week ago. My throat does not hurt and I have a few small white spots on it about the size of the end of a pen. I saw an ent a little over a month ago as I suffer from allergies and post nasal drip, can this cause an enlarged tonsil? I also woke up this morning with a horrible head ache localized to the right side of my head, but has let up some by taking 2 extra strength advil's. I am in good health, I have no cold or flu like symptoms, and no swollen glands/lymphnodes. Should I be concerned? Has anyone ever had anything like I am discribing? I searched the internet and found some pretty scary things.
