I am a 16 year old girl who has never had
sex and never did drugs but thinks
possibly I could have hiv. About 5 years
ago I went swimming in this dirty
unfiltered pool and got sick almost
immediatley. I eventually got taken to
the hospital because I as dizzy, with a
fever, and my throat was very swollen.
They gave me to shots of steroids and one
of antibiotics. I don't remember hen but
I had to go back to the hospital where
I took a blood test and tested negative
for mono, so I still don't know to this
day what made me sick. I learned some
things about hiv that would make a lot of
sense and I don't want to tell my mom
because would think i'm being dramatic.
Help!

I find it rare to get aids from a swimming
pool....Unless u were swimming in blood
