I am glad that such a forum exists. When new to a disease like copd one could feel totally disoriented.

My father learnt that he has copd about 2 months and a half ago, at 64 years old.

He's been coughing almost every day since then, sometimes during the night.
He has to wake up at 4 am (during the night)
to inhale albuterol which he is using four times a day.

Will the coughing stop or it will be present every day, every month ? Is it normal ?

He took three prescriptions until now of antibiotics, each for five days, I am wonder if it would be better to take for one week or 10 days.

Thank you
