I am a nurse, so you'd think i'd be able to figure this one out. I have been having pain under my left rib cage, it is heavy pressure, sometimes painful- feels like I am bloated. I have shortness of breath because of the fullness I feel from the pain under the left rib. Gallstones present themselves under the right rib cage and pain in the back/shoulder blades. This is perplexing me. Sometimes I wish it were my gallbladder to finally have a solution!

I suspect it is trapped gas, bloating pressure- sometimes relieved by gas. I have chronic constipation, I am obese and have gained about 15 pounds in a couple of months. As of jan 31st, I have no health insurance and it is really bothersome tonight. I carry all of my weight in my abdomin- I look like I am about to deliver a baby. I am sure the excess weight it not helping. Current weight is 217 near my heaviest at 5'6" tall.

Any thoughts on what it might be?
