:? I started taking thie birth control pill yasmin28 2 weeks ago, as advised by my doc, I took it the day of my period. I had a 9 day period, the last 2 days were light bleeding. This past 10 days I have been shedding sooo much hair, its frightening.
Should I simply get off of this pill? especially because I just had a physical donr 2 days ago and my doc felt an irregularity in my breast, getting an ultra sound november 10th and ive heard that estrogen (in bcp pills) activated growth in breasts and could potentially increase the growth of any cancer that I may or may not have... :?:

breast cancer
Shocked This past year my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I know that hormones fed the type of cancer she had, and they wanted to put her into menopause early to stop these hormones in her body. If you have a history of breast cancer in your family, should you take birth control that might increase that chance? I told my doctor that my grandmother and mother both had it, and she still put me on Yasmin. Ummm... If I were you, I would get off it due to the irregularity with your periods and hair loss. That would extremely scare me.
