Ok, i'm new so a big hello to everyone and
I was hoping that there are other people
out there who have had the same problems
as me and its a bit of a long story so
please bare with me.
I swollowed a fishbone about 4 months ago
and I couldn't swollow liquids or food at
all and when I did swollow I had this
weird central radiating chest pain. The
throat guys couldn't get it out, but I had
a huge scratch so I had antibiotics.
After 4 weeks there was little improvement
and when I did swollow I would be sick as
it felt that the food was stuck so I had a
barium meal and then a ct, which confirmed
what I knew that there is nothing there,
but I had a calcified piece of my gi tract
near the bottom, but they thought that was
incidental.
Since then nothings really changed I keep
getting different resistant strains of
strep throat, as soon as I came off the
antibiotics it came back. (i'm not a
carrier) but I still have this swollowing
problem as it hurts so much and now I have
pain under my breast bone at the lower
end. I've lost a over 15kg in weight, and
i'm so hungry, but i'm so scared to eat as
its so paiful. I've never had any health
problems before at the moment I have the
perfect textbook life and no stress, i've
never been depressed or had an eating
disorder....Its just driving me nuts and I
guess I want to know as it all in my head
will it ever get better, when I do eat and
it feels stuck I say to myself that theres
nothing there, but I know that there is
nothing there.
Please tell me that other people who have
had similar experiences, and you can get
better 'cause i'm at my wits end.
