Q: Boils And Styes

Recently I have had two styes in my right eye. The first one was in the lower eyelid. I was able to drain the pus out, but one week later the second one appeared in the upper eyelid of the same eye. This one was very painful, and my eye was swollen shut. I immediately went to the doctor and received the same treatment as before, hot compresses and erythromycin eye oinment and erythrocin pills. This has been 10 days now, and the eye although finally drained is still swollen and itches. I have been very careful and keeping my hands and eyes clean, and now a boil appears above my other eye and hurts alot. My question is, is this new boil related to my treatment of the styes? Will this ever stop? What's a best treatment for a boil? It's getting bigger by the day almost like I can see it grow. I have already put hot compresses on it. I don't know what else to do, or how can I prevent this from continuing to happen? If anyone can help with suggestions or cures, please help. Scarred eyes

Styes or chalazion are due to infection in the tissues of the eyelids as it gets blocked and unable to drain. Inspite of medicines sometimes the causative factors like bacteria remain and when our immunity is either down or the medicinal effect is over, tend to resurface causing the same infection.

Homoeopathy has very good medicines to relieve the pain, irritation, watering and agglutination of the eyes and to see that the infection is totally banished thereby preventing further occurence.
