Q: What Does Angina Mean?

My husband has pains that shoot through his chest at times. They happen at different times and situations. Sometimes he can't even talk through them, they last only 15-60 seconds long. His family has serious heart problems, but he refuses to except that he is 23 and having problems so young. Maybe it is nothing, but I sense worriness on his face when and right after it happens. A friend told me to look up the word angina? Can anyone help me with the meaning?
