That is kinda what happened to me.

They say that it occurs around the time when you're period is due so many women may mistake it for their periods.

I thought I was getting mine a couple of days early b/c I had cramps. Then I thought ok i'm getting my period but it was just spotting, and I kept on spotting and then one day i'll bleed heavily and then spotting again.

My situation is different than most people though b/c I have continued to bleed, but most people have very light bleeding of spotting. Usually it's a very light pink color or a brown-ish color.

Brb- i'm the same as you right now. I don't know if i'm pregnant or not yet, but i've had this strange intuition I might be over the last couple weeks. If I am pregnant, i'm probably only a couple weeks along. ... So my period just came (i think)... But like yours. I normally have pain leading up to my period and serious cramping and I start very heavy. But this time is different... It snuck up unnoticed... No pain. Only very slight discomfort. I only had light brown spotting the first day -very light. 2nd day light blood (red)... But more watery, none of the small thick clots i'm used to. But today I am very heavy bleeding and a huge "clot" came out... Just a little smaller than my tightened fist. I hope it was just a clot, but I can't help but wonder if this is implantation bleeding or maybe a very early miscarriage too? My hubby and I aren't trying to have a child, but if it happened, we would keep it. We only use condoms for protection, but we haven't had any broken ones... So, i'm not sure if I am pregnant, but my period definitely is weird for me and I can't help but wonder if I was preg. I'll be anxious to hear about your situation if you find any sure facts out.

If you are getting big clots check to see if the clot falls apart when you press on it or if you feel something harder in there that doesn't fall apart. If you do find something that doesn't fall apart put it in a plastic bag and take it to your doctor so that they can examine it and see if this is an early miscarriage or something else.

I did an ept test this morning... It came back positive. I guess that means my inclination was right, mine is a miscarriage... I hope that your results are better than mine....
