Q: Ectopic Pregnancy

My question is what are the chances of getting preg after an ectopic? I had ectopic in 2001 lost right tube , had hsg done and it showed that my left tube was open and flowing, I have pcos and im on metformin now trying to concieve im having some pretty bad side effects from this med if any one else knows anything about this I would be curios to listen

I actually dont have a fertility specialist I lucked up and found a obgyn that has had some pretty good results with getting couples preg, so im trying him.
Although hes not the same doc that did the surgery for the ectopic, I went to him after bc the obgyn that I was using just couldnt seem to tell us what we needed to know about why we couldnt get preg. The first visit to the new doc he told me I had pcos so im now taking metformin for that.
