Q: Analyzing Husbands Test Results

My husband had a semen analysis done, the doctor said it was normal, but I noticed the sperm count was only 21 million, and it said the volume was only 1ml and has low written next to it? Should I worry? It had been awhile since his last ejaculation (about 3 weeks). I had been sick. Would this make a difference?

Thanks!

I generally tell people that if their sa is low, to retest again in 3 months. Whatever a male does 3 months ago, effects his sa today. Perhaps he was sick or under a lot of stress?

Just make sure he is living healthy. Lighten up on any drinking or smoking. Stay away from hot tubs, take a good multi-itamin..Etc.

Thanks for the insight nancy!! I am surrounded by friends who got pregnant within 6 days of trying, haha, so I think I am just stressing too much. Thanks!
