My wife is pregnant and having sexual intercourse irritates my penis and it has caused a rash on it. Is this normal or should we be concerned?

I've never heard of this before and would say that this is probably not extremely common; but chances are that it probably does happen to many people. Were you using a condom? Perhaps you are allergic to the condom. The fact that your wife is pregnant shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I think it may be normal. While I was pregnant, one day my husband came to me, and said I have something to show you. He whiped down his pants, and pulled out his dick. I thought it was his way of basically telling me to get on my knees.

Anyway, he then showed me this rash all over his penis. It was red and inflammed and looked sore. He asked me if I had anything I wanted to tell him.

This was when I was around 8 months pregnant. I was devastated that he would question such a thing when we had been together for so long. I immediatley went to my doctor, that same day, and went through all the blood work, and swab tests I had done ( routine for pregnancy). Everything was negetive. (stds)

the doc then told me that I womans vagina is more acidic while pregnant, which can be irritating to a man. The natural bacterias down there are alot different from not being pregnant. It made since, and as soon as I was able to have sex again, after giving birth, it stopped happening, and hasn't happened since.

Usually uncircumsized men get this bacterial infection easier but it's possible for circumsized as well. I actually had this problem from my girl awhile back. Doc gave me some cream to rub on it and vuola it was gone within a week.
