Q: Flu Sympton?

I believe I am experiencing the flu. I started aching on thursday, spent all day friday in bed with aches and fever and by saturday the fever was reducing but I am still sick.

Another symptom has begun and that is vertigo. When I lay my head down or rise from sleep, even as I walk from the bed to bath, the room tilts and I feel as though I might loose consciousness.

Is this normal for flu?

Flu And Doc Visit
If you wait more than 48 hours from the start of symptoms there is nothing the doctor can do for the flu. You can only treat the symptoms after the first 48 hours. Before then, you can take an antiviral that will reduce the length and severity. They are useless if you don't start them until the 3rd day. Rest, fluids, and treating symptoms. Stay home. Don't go to work or school.
