I started taking the depo-provera shot in june of 2004, I have not had a period yet and it has been over a year. Will this cause problems for me either now, or when I decide to end it to become pregnant? :(

Aren't you supposed to take some kind of break every 6 months to have a period?

I was on the depo shot for 4 years, I never took a break or anything. I didn't have a period the whole time, it actually took me 4 months to get my period going again. Then it only took me a year and a half to get pregnant. I had no complications and still dont.
