Today my boyfriend and I had sex. It's only been six weeks since I had a c-section. He said that it felt different like it was not hugging his penis anymore. Is this normal? Am I still healing?

Hi! I have had three c-sections. After my first one, hubby and I only waited three weeks to resume having sex. I didnt have any problems. Second and third c-sections, we waited the length of time the doctor told us too. I didnt have any problems due to have sex earlier with my first, we just didnt have sex any sooner after the last two babies because we had other children to look after. Anyway ......... I wouldnt think that your actual vagina should feel any different, bacause the baby didnt come out through there. I do know that my doctor told me that even though a baby doesnt come through the vagina when you have a c-section, that your body does still change some. My husband never noticed any differences. Could it be a psychological thing with your husband. Maybe something about seeing you give birth that is causing him to "think" you feel different, could it be all in his head? I guess it is possible that you are still healing, everyone heals at a different rate ............... Call you doc and ask them if its normal for your vagina to not feel as tight after a c-section.

Keep us posted. Everything else going well??
