Exclamation Exclamation Evil or Very Mad Exclamation Exclamation how dare they public grip at us for eatting disorders and complain about our health and all these years saying we were unhealthy. We fought to stay alive and get our lives back. Now they are saying not eatting much is healthy and you live a long life over 100 years old! That makes me angry. I dont think they should be going on about this issue of almost no calories, for those of us who are finally under control and healthy and live a happy life. The stress of being skinny again is on the rise and they know darn well it isnt good for our bodies to starve! Anyone one else here agree with me. I dont want to hide myself behind doors again. I am finally able to say that and say I am a survivor of bulimic and anerxia! I still struggle and now they want the whole world to struggle with eatting disorders and saying it ok now. That makes me so mad Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

Mad I agree!!! I almost died twice of starvation from anorexia. I'm sure I shortened my life span with all that craziness. However, the headlines about eating less are aimed at the general public, most of whom do eat way too much of the processed, fatty, sugary foods. I try to ignore all that nutrition advice because i'm not "normal" (even now in recovery I never touch junk food or sweets or white flour or red meat).

Congratulations to you for being so strong & getting well. I found that getting angry at all the influences (the media, the diet industry, the fashion designers) who contributed to my decades-long illness helped me get better. I just finally yelled that i'm sick of being sick and am going to take my life back even if it means not being as skinny as kate moss or whoever.

You Didnt See the News
Saying eatting almost no calories will help you live to be over a hundred years old. Watch the news more often and i'm sure you will catch it on, for I cant go into details but its pretty much telling people to almost starve and they can be healthy and skinny. Etc... Starting crazy news if you eat almost nothing you will be ok and its not ok to me to listen to that crap! We know from being down that road its dangerous territoty and I never want to go down that road again. I dont want to see anyone almost die just to be skinny.

No, I didn't see anything like that, but I hate the news. I try to watch it, but with all that is going on in the world you would think they would have more to talk about then the weather and who won some stupid sport. I don't know about where you live, but the news in my area always repeats the same stupid story. But, I do agree with you about the above. That is bull.
