I am in the begining of my ninth month and for the past week my right hand keeps "falling asleep". Both during the day and at night I get that tingling sensation in the hand and shake it to try to make it go away. This is my 2nd pregnancy and I didn't have this the 1st one. Anyone ever experience this, or have an idea what may be causing it?

Hands and Arms Falling Asleep While Pregnant
I too have that right now. I am 35 weeks pregnant and I have been dealing with my right arm and hand falling asleep, day or night. I try elevating it while I sleep, but nothing seems to work and I can only get 4-5 hours sleep a night because of it. I asked the baby doctor about it and she said it was because of carpel tunnel. This is my 3rd baby we are having, I never had this with my other 2 pregnancies. I have also gain alot of water retention as well. My ankles are all swollen also.

hands falling asleep while preganant
I'm in my 34th week and I am also experiencing this. My whole arms will fall asleep at night when I lay on my side. It wakes me up all night. In the day my hands feel numb and it is annoying.
