..Any suggestions?

I have some noticeably enlgarded pores on my nose. When squeezed these pores usually excreet an oily substance...Otherwise they turn dark with built up oils... Either way, they're visible and it's frusterating.

A few months ago this wasn't the case, and my pores were nearly invsibile...I'm not entirely sure what caused the change...Possibly from a change in facial cleanser, peeling, or drynes...I don't know. It actually seems like the pores are the same size, but are more "open" if that makes sense.

Lately i've tried a variety of products, but settled on using st. Ives vitamim e moisturizor, and neutrogena's pore refining cleanser, with no noticeable improvements thus far.

Other than this issue, I have very little acne.

I was considering some dermatologist procedures, such as microdermabrasion, or a weak acid peel, as i've read that these do reduce the appearence of pores (while diminishing the minimal acne scaring I do have).

But i'm not entirely sure what would be the best option, so I was hoping someone with prior experience with this could possibly weigh in...

I'm also 18 and male if that matters.

Anyway, much thanks in advance :-d

See a Dermatologist
Hey spinoza,

you can try the microdemabrasion. I am currently having that treatment once every 2 weeks. It minimizes the pores and I see the difference after the 3rd treatment.

Enlarged Pores
i have the same problem and have for years. the pores on my nose are noticablly more clogged than the rest of my face. i dont know how to clean them and close them properly i guess. the pores are darker and when squeezed, a bit of stuff comes out. is there anyway to shrink and clean them out using at home products? without paying alot for medical cremes and such?
Help! this has been going on far too long....
