Dont know if this is a big sexual topic but....I wanna know if i'm normal!! Guys, are you standoffish when you find out that a girl is a virgin? I am and I try not to tell guys but when I do they either want to take it and dont understand what its going to take for them to take it.....Or they run in the opposite direction. Why??? I want a man dammit! Haha

Well i'm a virgin too and any guy that I ever went out with I told them straight up that I was a virgin and that they wouldn't get in very easily they accepted that fact and we were able to move on with our lives and my current boyfriend(who is not a virgin)told me that he's not gonna pressure or force me to do anything I don't want to do he said if i'm not ready then he'll wait till I am(even if it's many years from now)so they just have to accept the fact that youre a virgin and if they cant then you know they only want one thing and it wasn't meant to be.

When I first met my b/f we were both virgins *we aren't now* & he loved the fact that I was a virgin because nobody had taken that away from me! Now that we lost it to each other he feels even better cause he was the one that got to do that..Lol..If that makes any sense?

I would have thought no!!

But then again it depends on how long you are wanting to wait to loose your virginity!! Maybe thats what is scaring them away!! *shrugs*

Turn On
I am a man, and I would love to marry a virgin. It would relieve any insecurities about my performance.

You need to make sure that any man is "in it for the right reason". Many men are in it for the chase. And being your first is the end of the chase, so long see ya girl so to speak. Got what he want the notch in the bed post.

Gaurd it, make the first time with someone who will appreciate your gift now and forever.

Really it depends on the guy.
--going off of teenaged basses--
most of the time, if he wants a relationship were it's all sex, drugs, rock 'n roll, he'll go for a girl that's been deflowered.
Reason being is because she's already had her heart broken by that male that deflowered her, and a lot of girls, like myself and some others, become rather careless about their body.
They use their body for sex like a prostitute does, to pretty much get what she wants, which could be anything. Keep in mind, this isn't all women, this is some.

Now, for a virgin though, it's hard to find a good-guy out there anymore.
A lot of virgins become clingy with the man they have sex with for the first time, like I did, because it was the first person you shared such a precious gift with, and not many guys like that.
But for the men that do like it, it's because they like having someone they can protect and are greatful for what you gave them, which is a great, great thing indeed.

Basiclly, don't worry about it. You'll find your good-guy one of these days, but make him work for the prize, that way, if he really wants you, he'll wait.

Good luck dear.

I think its sort of a turn on to be with a virgin. Being there first and knowing nobody else has been inside them I find to be a turn on.

but it's the aftermath we're afraid of. We don't know if the man will just up and leave us after, with only god knows what left (regretful emotions, anger, depression, brokenheartedness, and pregnancy in some cases) so really, it being a turn on for men is nice, but it being a turn on for a man who wants to stay with us afterward is an even better thing.

Virgins
Most of the girls I know don't have any emotional attachment to the guy who was their 'first time'. I think everyone remembers their first time, of course, but it doesn't have to be a big event in your life. It depends on the circumstances I think.

My view is that the thought of being with a virgin can be more of a turn on than the reality of it. The one time I was the first guy in a girl's sexual life I found it a little unpleasant. Because it was a little painful for her. Of course I was very gentle and made sure everything was at her pace (it was her who initiated the whole thing, not me). But although it was something she wanted I still found it very hard to be doing something that was causing her pain.

I think the main point is that it shouldn't matter whether a girl is a virgin or not, because the reasons you're with her should be a lot more substantial. But if we're just talking sex for the sake of it then I would be more turned on by a girl who has had some experience.

P.S. Not wishing to contradict anyone else's views. These are just my thoughts... :)
