I got pregnant 2/4 times off birth control. Info on b/c if you are taking any other medication with it it can or will lower the effect b/c making the possibility of pregnancy easier (so instead of 99.9 protection think of dropping 10/20 %.) just wanted to let you know fyi..................Regualr vitamins or maternity vitamins dont affect it depedning on what company manufactures them.

When I first got preggy at 14 I was on aleese (the pill) and I got preggy.. But it was my fault cuz I didnt take them properly at all.

Whne I was 17 I got preggy on marvelon 28 (another pill) but I took them like I was sposed too. According to the doc, when I got my tongue pierced was when I conceived and I was taking prescription mds cuz it hit my vein. So that pretty much cancelled out my pill and made it like I wasnt takingg any birth control. Just be careful of meds and that if u take the pill but other than that, its pretty good birth control!

I got pregnant while on the pill and I took it as prescribed (every day at about the same time of the day). My doctor told me that the stress of planning my wedding could have affected my body so much that my hormone levels were off and I ovulated and became pregnant.

If you aren't taking any antibiotics and are not under an inordinate amount of stress (planning my wedding was very, very stressful), the pill should cover you just fine. If you feel like using condoms as well, there is nothing wrong with using two methods (i use two methods now everytime as well).

I was on the patch for 2 years and then suddenly got pregnant. I'm 5 months now.

My doctor says you can't take certain medications while on b/c, it makes it not work right.
