Hello this is my first post on this site. I have been having problems lately with my mind. A lot of people with schizophrenia, I have heard, hear voices that will threaten them, disagree with them, etc. I recently had a friend diagnosed with schizophrenia, and sometimes he would say things like "when i'm finished with my trip i'll give it to you" like it was my fault or something. I can't stop thinking about it and it's cutting into my daily activities. I don't actually hear voices but I think about them and I try to stop. I recently quit smoking marijuana because it would get worse when I did. I have never had any problems like this before. I don't know what to do, should I seek treatment?

About 3 % of people are prone to getting drug indused psychosis. Marijuana can push this along and bring it to light. my advice would be to stop smoking.
