Yes, stella2814 has asked a very key question. I dont know, but my virginity was so sacred to me that it would be hard to give advise, at a time like this. I mean not only think of "loosing your virginity", but yet the consequences that this might bring. You say you bf is too shy, may be is not shyness but respect towards you, maybe he loves you too much to hurt you or your relationship in any way. Think about that?

"losing your virginity" isnt that great a thing. I mean I havent im 14 but I have had bfs who were too pushy and its not like youre picking between a red shirt and a blue one...Its a bigger decision than that...

Honestly I thought then it was the best, but now that I am married I regret it big time. Everything went great with my husband on our wedding day, but only one thing was missing-my virginity. Marriage is such a sacred thing and the overwhelming feeling that you are going to spend the rest of your life with this one person is wonderful. I can share all the first with my husband except for the "first time". I wish I can go back and change things but I cant. With all the diseases and the huge chance you will get pregnant-dont take that risk. Live life, have fun; dont rush yourself you are growing up quick enough!

Im 17 years old andi lost my virginity to my ex boyfriend who I thought I would be with for the rest of my life at the age of 14...We stayed together for 1 years and 9 months and let me tell you somehting hun once you lose your virginity to that guy your relationship is totally different....He will become more controling and things will just be different...It ended at the end b/c he ended up beating me because I didnt do something he wanted me to...I regret ever losing it at all...So think about what your doin and make sure it is really what you want...

Can I ask how old you are? I am 17 years old and I lost my virginity when I was about 14. Huge mistake. I thought we were gonna be together for life. I was wrong. Now I am completely in love with the boyfriend I have now planning to get married in about 6 months when I turn 18 and trying to have a baby. I really wish I wouldve waited. So if your really trying to lose your virginity make sure you know that you really are in love and you wont regret it later.
