This is mainly a breath problem, but for 3 years now ive felt like I have bad breath. Or at least I can say, that my mouth always tastes gross. I brush 3 times a day, and floss once a day. Brush my tongue as well. I feel like the problem is the back of my tongue/throat. This sounds gross.. But I always have this slime snot like substance back there. Its clear like saliva, but thick. I can brush it all out, hour later its back. I chew gum all day long to disguise it, which i'm really sick of doing. By the end of the day at work, my tongue is white. I don't get it. I do smoke, but i've smoked for 10 years now. I quit drinking soda 2 months ago (i really thought the soda was the deal, guess not). I kept thinking I had post nasal drip, but I dont think so. As bad breath is the only symptom I have. Anyone have any clues? I'm desperate to get rid of this, but not big on spending money on all kinds of crap that i'm not 100% sure works. Thanks.

No, don't blame the soda, i'd blame it on smoking. :( ry licking your wrist, wait 3/5 seconds then smell it. If it's real bad.

I also recommend a tougne scraper.
