Q: marvelon birth control pills

I just started taking marvelon birth control pills, and i'm not sure how long it takes before i'm protected. I've tried to figure it out, I saw someone who said 7 days, and some ppl say a month. Anybody know?

With ortho tryclen it's a month that you have to use a condom. I would think it would be a month for any pill, cause your body has to go through I cycle first....That's what I would think, anyway.

im using marvelon and my ob said that im protected after 7 days of consecutive tablet taking

i have also been told you're safe after 7 days..though I chose to wait a month just bc im paranoid
