I have had dry, chapped lips for several
weeks. Have tried many over the counter
chap sticks, balms, etc. Nothing seems
to be working. I thought the neosporin
lip treatment was helping; I am convinced,
it's not. Please help.
I can't wear lip stick because of my
chapped lips. Any ideas.

I use chap stick medicated. When my lips
are especially chapped I can feel it
working to heal them.
Things that help a bit...Apply many times
a day, wear overnight, avoid licking lips.

Have you tried blistex lip ointment?
Every winter my lips get very chapped
because I lick them more often. And I
find that blistex always works for me.

Vitamin B Posted: 01-30-08 14:46pm
I had this problem for years and it was so
frustrating. Then one day, when I was
traveling in India, a German woman turned
to me and pointed at my lips and said,
"You need vitamin B supplements"
I started taking them and within a week
had results. If I missed them for 3 days,
the lips would return a week later for a
few days. I did that for 6 months and now
I only take the supplements here and there
and don't have any problems. Might have to
do with diet as well, since I eat more Vit
B-rich foods now.
But if it's painful, start with B Complex
supplements till you're regular again.
