We burp, belch and fart an average of 12 times a day. But why do we have gas? And what is intestinal gas?...the basics here....

Q: Discharde And Gas?

I stopped my pill last month. I have been having unprotected sex very often with my husband. I am suppose to get my period this week, but it hasnt come yet. I feel some light cramps, lower back pain, about a week ago I had some white discharge and I have had a lot of gas. What do you guys think this could mean?

Hey Nenis!

Well i'm not sure. I know when I stopped depo and the pill that my period wasn't dead on schedule before. It may just be your body reacting. Basically what a birth control method does is tricks your body into thinking its pregnant, if you get off that cycle sometimes your body just needs time to adjust. As for being pregnant, there's always the possibility. I've never been prego myself but believe I might be right now as well and i'm 21. I've heard that sometimes you can be pregnant and it doesnt' show up on the test right away always. It can take up to 3 weeks i've heard for anything to show in your urine pregnancy wise. Hope that helps a little!
