Whether u suffer from any of the various kidney diseases I think we can all agree that flank pain (ball bat in ribs) need not be ignored, nor minimized. This can happen if we stand our ground. Flank pain can get so low that you feel its at the top of your legs,,so hard that it feels the kidneys will bust,,and so high that you wonder if your ribs will hold up.

Its time the doctors recognize flank pain as moderate/severe. They recognize fybromialgia.................And numerous others. Can they not see the swelling? Can they not understand that it simply hurts?

Im not into addicting people to medication,,but ill be darned if I sit back knowing these people are facing terminal illness and we "wipe away" the painful whining? I think not.

It takes all of us to get this point accross..Lets all post so that the docs know we do not accept suffering when it isnt necessary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luv ya,
kim
