Hi everybody, im new to this board and this is my very first post!!!...But anyways I have a quick question. My finance and I have been ttc since feburary of last year but have had no luck! But this month my period was due on october 1st...But it has not came yet and its oct. 17 but ive been gettin all the pms symptoms like sore breast mood swings and all that mess...And considering all the failed test in the past I didnt want to "waste" money on another test so I decided I was going to wait it out...But unfortunetly I couldnt wait so I went ahead and took a test a couple of hours ago and it came back positive!!!!! I was so happy...But now im just wondering...Could this be a false alarm or is this a really good posibillity that im preggy?

I had the same thing happen to me back in february, I just knew I was pregnant so I just was going to wait a little while to make sure. I waited and a week later I had a miscarriage. So if you think you are go to the doctor to get checked. Because like you and your husband, me and my husband had been trying for a long time and then when we stop trying it just happened. Good luck to you and go to the doctor.

Some say that you can get a false positive but its very very slight chance and if you're 17 days late then I say a positive is a positive. Good luck and congradulations!

Be positive in ur mind since u got a positive results.

The baby is here finally for u... Happy for u dear. Go and confirm the results with a doctor and then u can rest assured. I guess u will be busy from here onwards, as u have to look for a good gyn/obst and start on pre-natal vitamins, folic acid and really rest.

At this point, dun think about miscarriages, just rest n sleep n dream... Relaxation is very important. If u r feeling stress u r actually stressing ur body and the fetus too. So really rest and be pampered.
