Q: Late Period On Pill

I've been on otc lo for the past 2 years (so pretty set in my schedule there), havent been late on any pills (within the 2 hour range, but most exactly on time), and did not get my period on my pill free week. I have not been sexually active for months (so no reason to suspect pregnancy). I've been late on a period before, but never have skipped one. Is it normal to skip a period during one month on the pill? I started my active pills yesterday so I assume i'll either get some breakthru bleeding or my period normal next month? Just scared something is wrong..Please help! Thanks a lot!

I have heard that sometime you can skip a period but that usually happens if you switch birth control. But if you know that you aren't pregnant, what's the worry. Just talk to your doctor if the problem persists for the next month.
