I went to a nurse-practioner 6 mo ago with what I thought was appendicitis. She said it was either my appendix or a cyst, and I should monitor it. After a few weeks I went to my regular doctor. He ordered ultrasounds(20 days later) and had me go see a gynocologist. Everything checked out normal. Since then i've had a cat scan, colonoscopy, gall bladder tests (incl. A hidden test), mri, and seen a couple of surgeons who told they couldn't do anything without finding the pain first. The mri showed some buldging disks that the spine doctor claimed to be normal, and a mass of tangled blood vessels at the base of my spine (i'm seeing a vascular surgeon thur, and I doubt if this is the cause). Everything keeps coming back as normal, but the pain remains and grows worse.
At its worst it feels like hard labor contractions. At it's best it feels like a heavy bruise or a cavity. It never goes completely away. Sometimes it acts up at its worse for days on end. Even when it is at its best I can't sleep; the pain wakes me up every few hours. No pain medication helps. Sometimes pressure on the spot helps. The spot is on my lower right side (i was told it is about an inch below where my appendix should be). The pain travels down my right leg, and up through the middle of the right side of my back. A couple of times when it was really bad, it traveled through my pelvis to my left leg. Most of the time it is just in my lower right area and down my right leg. Also, my entire abdomen has become increasingly tender.
My mother thinks it may be linked to my tipped uterus, a friend thinks it may be endimetrosis; i'm thinking both of these would have been found through all the test i've already had. I'm tired of being passed around, and not finding anything. Any suggestions?

It could well be something like edometriosis, but with pain radiating down your leg, it does sound more like a nerve/back problem. It might be worth asking for a second opinion & getting it checked out. Hope you find the cause real soon
