Q: Rasberry Tea And Pregnancy

Ive read some things on here about peoples opinions on drinking rasberry leaf tea during pregnancy. I know the concerns especially of a new mother. This is coming from a mother of three.I come from a little native town in idaho and was turned on to this tea by an indian friend who's family drank this through every pregnancy.I did too.My doctor at the time was not into vitamins, and disagreed. But coming from a family who relied on vitamins instead of over the counter or prescription pills,i continued drinking the tea through all three of my wonderful, healthy, comfortable pregnancies. And so did my sister.Everyone is different and one bad experience, due to the tea or not, could really persway someone not too drink this tea.But my three little ones are proof enough to me that it is a wonderful thing. Not to mention it was the only safe thing that got rid of my morning sickness.

Just posted this similar topic recently under pregnancy. Never heard it before until one of the mums in the ante-natal class brought up this subject. Looks like you are one of those satisfied mums! Just wondering, when is the most ideal time/week to start drinking the tea? What are the side effects (good / bad) in drinking this? Which is better, the tea bag or the capsule? I bought a pack just 2 days ago but haven't started drinking it. Btw, I am on my 29th week. Would really appreciate if you could share more info especially from an experienced mum.
