I recently came across a deal which sell:

"4 bottles of vitamin a, 10,000 iu , dietary supplement. New and never opened. There are 100 softgel capsules in each bottle. Expiration dates are 07/2005, 07/2005, 07/2005 and 08/2005."

the seller also added that: "but as we all know that is just the shelf life, these stay good and fresh long after that".

These bottles are brand new and unopened.

I am aware that these bottles have been on the shelves for over 3 years.

Do these vitamins lose its effectivenss? Do they do harm after the expiration date?

Please give suggestion and comments.

Thank you.
