La Weight Loss

This center for weight loss, is a big rip-off! Some places do not have a center like this. My advice to anyone ever thinking about doing this diet.....Don't waste your time or...Money! They are very slimy people who only care about your money, my guess is that they are on commission. Their goal, is get your money, while your goal is to lose weight. Many of us know that when we have wanted to lose weight, we can become very vulnerable, and this is how they get you to fall into their trap.

If anyone has had any problems with this type of program, please let me know. I am in the middle of investigating the "good faith in business" act they have going, or I should say, that they don't have going!

Ripped Off As Well
I went to la weight loss in the spring of 2002 and you are absolutely right they are only interested in selling you their products that do not work. And when those products you purchased did not work they sell you another product...They are scam artist and have regretted spending my money and my time on such a company.

Well, my fiance' who is about ready to go into law school, is helping me out with this one! The manager at the place I went was so incredibly rude! I left there so irrated, and angry. My story, is that I went in the beginning of october, and then on day six of the diet, I realized it wasn't for me, so I went back a day earlier than my second appointment, and told them, that I couldn't change my lifestyle to meet their "structured" plans. The manager was yelling at me, and slipped in that the program was "non-refundable". No where on the contract that I signed, did it say anything about the service being "non-refundable!" in fact, what it did say, was that the initial set up fee of $169.00 was "non-refundable." right there, that would assume that all but $169.00 would be refundable. Each time I mentioned that to her, she would raise her voice, and dodge the questions I asked! They also have no signs up that say their services are "non-refundable." it has been a horrible experince, and I do discourage anyone from going! Right now, my refund is "hopefully" underway. The funny thing is, is that they have a "refund form" you can fill out, which is what I did, and they told me I should get my refund in about 3 weeks.

On a happier note, I bought a cookbook, that measures and counts calories, and in a month, I have lost a total of 21 pounds!

Agreed!
This place is the biggest scam going! I just got my $400 refund plus $89 for supplements. I knew after my 2nd visit it was not for me. It is so funny how they introduce the supplements to you in stages after you sign the contract. The people that work there act as nutritionists but are only past customers who lost weight on the program. Basically they know as much as me and you! I could not believe how much they wanted to charge my mother who has a lot more weight to lose than I do. I want to lose 30 and she wants to lose about 75 lbs.

Warning to anyone considering - save your money!!!!
