I always wanted to have a baby but I knew that I was to young now that I am pregnant I don't know how i'm going to support myself and the baby the father (my boyfriend) I know is going to do all he can to help but it's not enough. He was thinking about going into the army because they great insurance coverege but I don't want him in 10 state away while i'm giving birth is it bad to want to have him around? He is my best support. He loves the baby just as much as I do. He even sleeps with my stomach. Stephanie Confused Question

Ok well I just got done telling jordan this but how old are you? What you can do when you if you are not living at home is apply for food stamps. Its helps alot. Also apply at wic. They give necessities you need now such as milk, penut butter, eggs, cereal and things like that. Thats all you can do for now for some help. Maybe you should get a job to save until you are about 7 months. And have your boyfriend to work too, since you have him there. It wont be no walk in the park financially but you need something for now to save up. Welcome to the forum. Im nikki.

Hey sweetheart I have a friend from backhome and she was 17 last yr. And pregnant she was dating a guy in the navy and she ended up marrying him so they could get the benifits from the navy and moved to where he was based at...Im not soo sure about ur situation tho b/c I really dont kno urs that well but there are sooo many programs out there for u like wic and food stamps and if u are really low on money they might have a crisis pregnancy center where u are at and they can give u maternity clothes u could go to like salvation army and see if tehy have and nice ones there or if u were to get a job get one at like walmart or kmart or something so u could get a discount on baby stuff u can do it were all here for u hang in there!!!Much love adn god bless!!

Its not wrong at all to want your guy around, especially when your having a baby. But right now the top priority is your baby to be. Your its mother rihgt now, and its totally dependent of you even if its not born yet. If ur guy living ten states away is what it takes to give the baby the life it deserves, then maybe thats what it takes. I understand what your saying, I always dreamed of having a baby young but when I had my own (im 16) it was kind of shocking. I had second thoughts during hte pregnancy, but now I couldnt be happier. If support is what your looking for, join a support group in or around your town, or even online support groups. I hope I helped.
